Maiko Thomé Araujo (born 1977 in Prudentópolis, Paraná, Brazil) is a multi-instrumentalist musician, composer, music and audiovisual producer, teacher and researcher, as well as an illustrator and graphic artist/art director. Active professionally since 1993, his work spans early and medieval music, Celtic and Nordic traditions, curated repertoires for concerts and events, original projects, and productions/participations in rock and metal.

     He develops his work through Sonata Prima, a music laboratory that brings together music/audiovisual production, teaching, publications, and personal projects. He also maintains performance programs and event-focused repertoires through Sonata Prima Concerts.
